The Membership Team is conducting an outreach initiative to apartments and apartment managers. Letters were sent to twelve (12) apartment managers inviting them to meet with LOHOA and City officials to discuss: LOHOA Goals and Objectives, Legal Mandates regarding pet clean-up, Littering, Crime Prevention, Housing Code Enforcement and Community Projects. Hopefully, a productive dialogue can ensue so that we can work together to maintain standards.
To continue with membership outreach, our team is completing the following tasks:
- Assisting with the coordination of a Business Countil to increase the collaboration between residents and businesses; and collaboration between businesses and City/County officials. Hopefully, these links will lead to quality community support, a safe shopping environment and quality services.
- Creating a master list of residents to communicate critical information that impacts the community through postal mail, email, etc.
- Canvassing throughout the community and developing a plan to recruit participation of multifamily residents in community projects and initiatives.
